Indigo - Paura del buio

I’m particularly fond of this project.
I did not earn anything from this work, it was a friend’s collaboration and we wanted to experiment something new.
We had a singer, we had a videomaker, we had an illustrator and we had me, trying to fuse all those arts in one final product.
We codirected everything.
The concept came out on a summer night, while we were chillin 'with beers at Giorgio’s (the singer) house.
It was a great opportunity to work with an amazing team.
My role in this production was the compositing of illustrations and the footage we achieved in a one-day studio shooting.
I also animated Nicolò Canova’s illustrations that surround the singer.
The lyrics are about Indigo’s biggest fears, which were represented with these colored sketches, initially surrounding him, then touching him, and at the end taking control of his entire figure.
In the video we'll see two different versions of the artist.

The multicoloured singer is the expression of his monsters and feelings. 
The real one is the rational part, his mind.
They exist at the same time, they live the same moments but differently. Colors always surround him, and sometimes take control of the situation. But at the end they coexist in harmony and colors.
